Up to the Alsace region of France we travel for our second wine this week. This is a super unique, super tasty Riesling from the Boeckel family, who have been farming vineyards in this region for over 400 years. This is simply fantastic Riesling, and a wine that showcases the true character of this famous region. The nose offers something really unique with it's beautiful notes of apricot white chocolate, tangerines and faint petrol. The palate is textured and full of wonderful mineral tension, and the wine is so layered that it just kept unfolding with time in the glass. We were all enamoured by this glass, and can't recommend it enough!
