We are very excited about this new addition to our portfolio - a fantastic wine from Gavi, Piedmont. This is a seductive white wine made from the Cortese grape, and it blew us away when we first sipped it. With wonderful freshness and vibrant character; walnuts, hazelnuts, faint pineapple and guava, and superb balance, this wine truly has it all. The Molinetto estate in the heart of Gavi is run by Diego Carrea, his uncle and father, and together they produce a small amount of superbly flavorful Cortese wines. While Gavi has long been famous for stellar white wines, it has recently been making somewhat of a comeback with lots of interesting new wines coming to light. This wine is certainly one of them, and we can't recommend it enough. Delicious!
