This is a fascinating white wine from Galicia, in northwestern Spain. Galicia, and the subregion Valdeorras is known specifically for fresh, crisp wines with immense complexity and often offering great value. This region is very hard to navigate, and offers rather poor soil quality, which requires manual harvesting and extra attention from talented winemakers to make these special wines happen. Rafael Palacios is one such talented winemaker, and his wines continue to impress us year after year. This 100% Godello white wine is packed full of fruit with a lovely, round palate and great balance. Faint lemon, persimmons, apricot and almonds with great acidity on the palate and just epic length. This is an elegant, vibrant wine that we can't recommend enough!
